Escort Cards

One of the biggest benefits of  assigned seating, is that  you can  ensure you use every seat at the the table. If you don’t, you may have random left over seats at each table, meaning you will have to have extra tables. Extra tables mean extra costs in linens, centerpieces, and other items you may be renting for each table such as chargers and china. So how do you let your guest know where to sit? Escort Cards. These days brides and planners are putting as much thought into escort cards as the do their centerpieces. Here are some unique ideas.

I really like the idea of the vase escort cards because once they get to the tables they add even more loveliness.

And I totally love this one below!

Turquoise….I’m obsessed.

So, as I know every bride can relate to…I have gotten a color/idea in my head, and every where I go, I’m obsessed with finding something that relates. Hours on Pinterest, pinning ALL night…Right now, my obsession. TURQUOISE.

What’s not to love? It’s bright, fresh, and so versatile. You can pair it with almost any color. Red, pink, orange….

Really, I love it. I almost took a picture of my kitchen table, to post, which is decked out in a white linen with turquoise and red birds. But then I thought, no, I don’t want anyone to glance at my kitchen table and think it’s a brides table.

I hope everyone has a bright and fresh day!

brittany and the elegant bee.

I wanted to take the time to blog Brittany’s wedding. She is a friend of San Antonio Wedding and Event Consultant, and had the most lovely wedding, thanks to an absolutely AMAZING VENDOR, Patty, the owner of The Elegant Bee. Sometimes things don’t always go as brides plan, and they get some surprises that they should not have to deal with on their wedding day. (NUMBER 1 reason, you need a planner, at least for your day of, hint hint-call us). This happened to Brittany. We wont tell you who spoiled her day, but we will tell you who saved her day. It was Patty, with The Elegant Bee . Patty, not under any contract with Brittany, not having been paid a penny, and not asking to be paid a penny, stepped in on the afternoon of Brittany’s wedding and did some of the most AMAZING floral and decor for a wedding we have ever seen.

Take a look at the photos below.

A Stunning Tuscany WeddingI ran across this absolutely amazing wedding while looking for ideas for one of our brides. I feel like so many people are blogging the vintage themes, us included, and these bright colors truly  caught my eye….I fell in LOVE. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of the vintage/modern vintage/country vintage inspired weddings, I really am, but it was like a breath of fresh air to see something bright and vibrant. The photographer behind this amazing wedding photography is Aubrey Joy Photography. She is located in Northwest Washington, but travels:) http://www.aubreyjoyphotography.com
